North Jakarta Officials Required to Have Stop Pungli Pin

North Jakarta Mayor, Husein Murad, revealed his staffs must prevent illegal levies (Pungli) or corruption. Even, the Stop Pungli Pin should always be pinned on the official's uniform to remind.

It aims to remind them not doing illegal or corruption in doing their duties

"I warn again, officials do not do illegal and corrupt. For the Pungli saber team will keep working every day. If the case is detected, the team will process it," he stated, Thursday (1/18).

To prevent pungli, his party will keep conducting education and preventive action. "If our warning is ignored, we will do strict action. The actor must be detained," he asserted.

He continued all the existing units are actually prone to the occurrence of pungli action. But it depends on the officials, whether they would refuse pungli/corruption or not.

"The stop pungli pin is pinned every day by echelon II, III and IV officials. It aims to remind them not doing illegal or corruption in doing their duties," he uttered.
